Reading tools and personal records

The document comparator and question router use public educational data. Their selections remain in the current page and do not submit a form, upload a document or send the selection to a payroll provider. They are not account services and do not ask for names, tax identifiers, financial details or medical information.

The site’s ordinary pages and search still make requests to the web server. Search terms can appear in the requested address and server records. Do not enter sensitive employee information into site search.

Browser preferences

A first-party cookie records your privacy choice. Optional local storage can remember article paths, reading positions and timestamps on this browser after you allow it. You can reject that feature and continue reading. The Cookie Policy and Settings page identifies the storage names, timing and deletion behavior.

The built-in reader features do not send analytics or advertising events. That statement does not establish that every hosting service, WordPress feature or separately added integration has the same behavior. Cookie Settings controls the reading feature described here, not unrelated software.

Website delivery and hosting

Web requests pass through the hosting and security services selected by the publisher. This package does not identify or independently verify the live host, CDN, service providers or processing locations. Contact the publisher for the configuration that applies to this website. Requests may generate records such as an IP address, requested address, timestamp and browser information for website delivery and security. The fields and retention depend on the hosting and security configuration. This notice does not specify an independently verified fixed retention period. Contact the publisher for information about the applicable arrangements.

WordPress administration, authentication, hosting security and additional software can use their own technology. Their active configuration and retention require verification by the publisher. A source-code review of these reader features cannot see every server-side record.

External sources and videos

Source and video links take you to another website. The built-in video section uses outbound links rather than embedded players and does not load a video provider’s thumbnails, scripts or player before you leave. Once you follow a link, the destination receives the request and applies its own practices. A link is not a promise that the destination collects no information.

Publication correspondence

Email is processed by the email services used by the sender and the publisher. The public email link opens the reader’s mail application; it is not a message-submission form on this website. Correspondence is used to assess and respond to publication matters. Contact the publisher to ask what correspondence is held and request its correction or deletion where applicable. The reading-preference controls do not erase email records.

Do not email actual payroll records, tax identifiers, credentials, account numbers, health records or dependent information to this publication. An editorial correction can usually be described with a public source or an invented example.

Your choices and questions

Use the persistent Cookie Settings control to change optional reading storage. Browser site-data settings can remove stored data, including a saved privacy choice; the preference panel may then appear again. These actions do not erase hosting logs, email correspondence or records held by an external service.

Scope and updates

The built-in feature descriptions were checked against their code on September 30, 2026. Live hosting, additional plugins and email infrastructure are not established by that review. The publisher should update this notice when those arrangements or the features change.
